- Department of Veterans Affairs: The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program is authorized by Congress under Title 38, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 31. It is sometimes referred to as the Chapter 31 program. The VetSuccess program assists Veterans with service-connected disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs. For Veterans with service-connected disabilities so severe that they cannot immediately consider work, VetSuccess offers services to improve their ability to live as independently as possible. |

The National Executive Committee of The American Legion recently passed a resolution to establish a relationship with VeteransPlus, a nonprofit financial-education and counseling company. "VeteransPlus will teach you how to create a household budget, how to pay off your debts in a responsible way and how to teach your children about money. [They] will help you to understand how your credit rating is established and how it can affect nearly every significant financial transaction you make or consider. [Additionally, they] will teach you how to save for a new home or how to keep the home you have.
